JANE OVERCOMES OBSTACLES AND COLECTS RESULTS

The Paralympics' athlete Jane Karla has obtained several positive results in table tennis. In July 2005 she was called for the Pan American Games in Mar del Plata, Argentina, where she was Pan American vice-champion and achieved the sixth place in the world ranking.

Recently Jane took part in the Brazilian Table Tennis Circuit in Curitiba, from the 12^th to the 14^th of August, where she nailed one gold and two silver medals and now leads the national ranking.

Very happy about the results, the athlete dream with the Paralympics Games in Beijing 2008, in Chine, and, meanwhile, gets ready for another extremely important championship. The World Table Tennis Championship of her category will happen in Rio de Janeiro between the 16^th and 25^th of September 2005. About 40 countries are expected to participate in the event.

"I hope I bring to our city the best result as possible and to show everyone that there aren't obstacles for those who believe. As a dream that is only dreamed is nothing but a dream, but a dream that we dream together is a reality. I believe in that sentence and I thank all of those who dream with me about achieving my results", said Jane.
