BRAZILIAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEE SALUTES TABLE TENNIS

Carlos Arthur Nuzman, president of the Brazilian Olympic Committee (COB), has sent a letter to the presidency of the Brazilian Table Tennis Confederation congratulating the organization on its decision to keep the table tennis in the Olympic Games 2012 programm, which will happen in London. On its letter COB compliments the efforts made to develop the sport.

"Mr. Presindent,

 

The Brazlian Olympic Committee has a great satisfaction and joy to praise Your Honour and the Brazilian Table Tennis Confederation on the decision made in the 117th International Olympic Committee Session in favor of the permanence of Table Tennis in the XXX Olympic Games in 2012, which will take place in London.

 

We congratulate the campaign that was carried through to keep the sport on the Program with certainty that it was guided with the basic principle of the Olympics.

 

We applaud your efforts and dedication invested on the development of the practice of Table Tennis on the sports' canary, national and international, as well as the magnificent work of the Table Tennis International Federation.

 

We are sure that the role of the International Federation, the Directors, the Coaching Commission and the Athletes were very important and essential to recognition of the sport by the Olympic Games Evaluation Committee, in addition to the votes of the Members of the COI.

 

On behalf of the Brazilian Olympic Committee, the Brazlian Olympict Movement and yours, we reaffirm our compliment to yet another conquest, wishing success on the process of preparation to the team.
