The Brazilians Cazuo Matsumoto and Carina Murashige won Peredo/Torres of Bolivia and Mujica and Ramos, of Venezuela, for 3 to 0 and 3 to 1, respectively, before facing Hugo Hoyama and Mariany Nonaka, that won Rondon and Guanchez in a very controversial game. The arbitration punished the Brazilian couple in three points, in the end of three sets. Mariany and Hugo had 9 to 7 against, but they turned and they expired for 11 to 9.
"I and Mariany lost in the mixed couples' final semi to Chile for 3x0. We didn't get to impose our jog, and they played very well also, mainly the Berta Rodrigues. Juan Papic took advantage the attacks very well, and we didn't really have a lot of chances. Thiago Monteiro and Lígia Silva won Martinez and Espinosa from Ecuador for 3 to 0 before facing Gustavo Tsuboi and Karin Sako. Gustavo / Karin won the couples from Paraguay, Mieres/Ovelar and of Equador Coello / Zeas for 3 to 0.
Thiago/Lígia expired and later they found with the Chileans Augusto Morales and Melita Yanez for 3 to 1.
