BRAZIL IS CHAMPION OF SOUTH AMERICAN GAMES

Brazil was sovereign in the first two days of dispute of the table tennis. In the feminine, Lígia Silva, Mariany Nonaka, Karin Sako and Carina Murashige won Chile for 3 to 1 and they were champion.

 

In the first game, Lígia won Natalia Castellano for 3 to 0, without great problems. In the second set, Mariany lost for Berta Rodrigues for 3 to 1, in a departure in that all of the sets went for it decides, except for the second, in that Mariany expired for 11/0. 

 

Karin Sako won Paulina Sees for 3 to 1 and Lígia Silva fit to decide the confrontation against Berta Rodrigues. In a very tense game, Lígia attacked with a lot of speed and it expired for 3 to 1 giving the title for the girls. 

 

For trainer Lincon Yasuda, it is worth to detach the evolution of the feminine team: 

 

"More important than the title was to verify the growth of that team along the year. I cheered to see me the girls that came back from China playing with speed, aggressive, really with a lot of intensity. Lígia is if moving faster. Mariany and Karin also grew on that month of trainings in China"., Lincon said.
