A great match: that's the way to describe the women double's final between Lee Eun Sil and Moon Lyun Jung, from South Korea, and Japan's Ai Fujinuma and Sayako Hirano. In the end, the victory went to the Korean girls who closed the match 4 games to 3 (9/11, 7/11, 8/11, 11/4, 18/16, 11/7 and 11/8), a impressive turn over.

There was no way of knowing who would win the match. Even when the score was 3-0 to the Japanese, the games were disputed point by point - followed by cheers from both sides.

When it was all over, Lee and Moon were greeted by enthusiastic colleagues and Korean supporters who had taken over the benches.

"I was a little nervous, I got married recently so I have been back to practice for only three months", said a smilling Lee.

Because of the shot period of practice prior to the event, they didn't believe they could win it, which made their victory even more special.

"It was a tough match, the Japanese duo had a right-handed and a left-handed player, but Lee and Moon are both extremely strong players and they know their tatics", explain Jae Hwa Lee, who is one of their coaches.
