The Volkswagen Women's World Cup to be held in
A fashion contest will be held with manufacturers invited to submit innovative designs to enhance the image of table tennis and therefore make the sport more appealing to television viewers.
The aim is to encourage more attractive clothing and persuade players to wear innovative attire that dispels an out-of-date image and promotes fashionable trends. In modern parlance let's make table tennis `cool'.
Entries
Entries are welcomed for either a one piece suit or a two piece design.
There will be three categories: men, women and mixed doubles with thirty designs being selected to participate in the fashion show that will be held on 30th September 2007, the final day of the Volkswagen Women's World Cup.
A jury will be appointed to determine the winners.
Submission
Designs, which may be submitted as e-mail attachments in jpeg form, will not be returned. The entry fee is US$ 50 per design.
In the finals those who bring their own models will pay UD$100, those wish the organiser to provide the models will pay an additional US$200.

Finalists
On 15th July 2007 the names of the finalists will be announced. The actual clothing must be received by 10th September 2007, the address to which this has to be sent will be specified later.
Conditions of Entry
White cannot be the main colour owing to the ITTF clothing regulations, the clothing must practical and the entry has to consist of either a full one piece suit or two piece garments.
The entry fee of US$50, which applies to all entrants and the additional entry fee for the finalists (US$100-200 depending on the need for a model) will not be returned for any reasons. The designs of all the finalists will be shown on the ITTF Internet TV.
