The Brazilian championship will reveal new champions in the Adult category, which is based on the results of Rating A.
The Male Champion in 2004, Rodrigo Kojima, will not be in the event at Florianópolis this year. The favorite ones are Thiago Monteiro, Hugo Hoyama, Duan Quan and Hugo Hanashiro. They didn't dispute last year's championship.
The same thing happens with the Female category because the 2004 champion, Ligia Silva, will not participate too. Eugenia Ferreira and Mariany Nonaka, that also didn't compete last year, are qualified to conquer the title. So are Maira Ranzeiro and Cláudia Ikeizumi, eliminated in last year's semifinals.
All those Table Tennis players are high standard ones. We can be sure that we will have excellent games besides the champion's name.
